Just another Easter?

Millions of peoples are celebrating Easter all over the world, regardless of their race or national origin.
Easter is a time when all the world must accept or deny the saving grace of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the grave. It is the defining event in history which separates believers in Christ and those whose choose not to accept him as Lord and Savior.
Believing that Jesus Christ conquered sin at Calvary is something that Christians must believe, but we must also never waiver in trusting God's grace with our future and eternal life.
In the time of Christ's life and death there was a great uncertainty of what would happen to this anointed Prophet of God. In times of uncertainty society can react in many extraordinary ways including doubt, fear, panic, violence, and even murder. Jesus went willingly to the cross to pay the ultimate price for all of mankind's sins, so that we would stand without wavering, regardless of the crises of this world.
Easter comes once a year, but Jesus blood saves souls for eternity!

Just another Easter?
I don't think so.

Stepping out on Faith

Ruth 2:2 'And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.'

Stepping out in faith seems to be getting more difficult to do when you look at our world's decaying circumstances. Ruth shows us that no matter how everything may be stacked against you, pressing forward is our only alternative. Her list of negatives includes: she was a foreigner, widower, had no income, and had no experience. Ruth did have one positive attribute; she had faith in the God of Israel. Ruth 1:16 'And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.'
Ruth had determined in her heart, mind, and soul to be completely sold out to God and not to focus on her present situation.
Her willingness to serve, by working in the fields for leftovers, exhibited humility. This shows her everlasting love for her mother-in-law's, Naomi's, welfare. Regardless of our circumstances or the negatives in our life, we must press forward. Ruth overcame all of her obstacles through the mercy and grace of God. His mercy and grace still opens doors and makes the way for us to be overcomers and live victorious in Jesus Christ!
Luke 4:10 'For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee. '
When you are faced with overwhelming obstacles, remember that we serve the great "I AM".

PRESS FORWARD AND THE LORD WILL MAKE A WAY OUT OF NO WAY.

STEP OUT ON FAITH; RUTH DID AND SO CAN YOU!

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT

Troubling times and conditions can push us into some adverse situations and decisions.

The word of our Lord reminds us we should not have any fear pertaining to this world.

The Apostle Paul faced many trials in his Christian walk from the beginning to the end. His life and all he possessed became secondary to the call of God. How many times was he rejected, ridiculed, and beaten? We will never know. But his life demands us to see his unwavering faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Paul had to face angry people, crowds, and a world of hate on a daily basis, without having a lot of support. ROMANS 8:35 declares Who can separate us from the love of Christ?

The Lord sees our dilemmas and he knows our shortcomings, so let us continue trusting in God's everlasting love. Fight through when the world tries to pull you down and steal your joy. Prayer is one of the greatest weapons to fight the attack of the enemy and his lies.

Psalm 142:1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

Fight the good fight in rain or shine, mountain top or valley, joy or tears and God will see you through to victory.

Standing Firm

In the book of Ephesians chapter 6:10 the Apostle Paul declares "Finally, my brethren,be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might"
That seems to be a very difficult thing to do in this ever changing world we live in. World drama, economic insecurities, fears of the future are becoming a driving force in losing your stance in God's word. The Bible states that "He will never leave us nor forsake us"regardless of how relentless the pressures of this world are which continues to attack your family, finances and your spiritual walk continue to Stand.
Remember when everything may seem to be out of control,we must trust in God as the three Hebrew men did in the fiery furnace. The fiery furnace may not have been the place where they wanted to be but their faith was stronger than there circumstances.
The Lord Jesus will always shield us and provide for his people, from the Red Sea of Egypt until today,God delivers!
Standing firm in God may seem uncomfortable in times of turmoil but this is where our faith and hope will grow stronger and stronger!
When everything seems to fail, Stand Firm in the Lord!
